1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Revado ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Revado is a recruitment management platform that enables recruitment agencies to:

  • Manage client relationships and hiring pipelines
  • Track and organize candidate information
  • Provide client portal access for collaboration
  • Integrate with third-party services including LinkedIn
  • Facilitate communication between recruiters and clients

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

Account Types:

  • Recruiter Accounts: Full access to create and manage clients, deals, and candidates
  • Client User Accounts: Limited access to view candidates and provide feedback for authorized clients only

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights
  • Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Scrape, data mine, or extract data from the Service without permission
  • Use the Service to discriminate against candidates based on protected characteristics
  • Store or transmit candidate data in violation of applicable employment and data protection laws
  • Share login credentials or allow unauthorized users to access your account

5. Data and Content

5.1 Your Data

You retain all rights to the data you upload to the Service, including candidate information, client details, and any other content ("Your Data"). You grant Revado a limited license to use, store, and process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

5.2 Candidate Data

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to collect, store, and process candidate personal data. You must comply with all applicable data protection laws, including obtaining necessary consents from candidates where required.

5.3 Data Portability

You may export Your Data at any time during your subscription. Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export Your Data before it is permanently deleted.

6. Subscription and Payment

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees based on your selected plan and the number of users.

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
  • Fees are based on the number of recruiter seats and client user seats
  • You may add or remove seats at any time; changes will be prorated
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

7. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your account will be converted to a paid subscription unless you cancel. No payment information is required to start a trial, but you will need to provide payment details to continue using the Service after the trial ends.

8. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party services, including but not limited to LinkedIn. Your use of these integrations is subject to the terms and policies of those third parties.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services. You acknowledge that your use of the LinkedIn integration must comply with LinkedIn's User Agreement and Professional Community Policies.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Revado and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Revado shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Revado and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
